What is your role and what do you do?
I am an Account Executive. I cover Canadian Crown Corporations and new commercial customers. My role is to meet with new customers, uncover their IT problems and issues and provide relevant IT solutions. Gone is the age of just dropping off a box. We provide pre-sales and post-sales professional services and suggestions to wrap around the hardware. It’s all about comprehensive secure solutions.
What does PureLogic IT do differently from other companies?
My eyes opened up when I came to PureLogic. It’s amazing what we can provide our clients. Everything from architecture and design, good manufacturer relations, suppliers’ stock and lead times, multiple procurement vehicles and the implementation of the services with our professional services team. We take the time to understand our customer’s pain points and provide them with our expertise and the best solution possible with a combination of vendors and solutions.
What advice do you have for any young sales professionals?
Our industry is constantly changing. Find something you enjoy doing and grow with it. Read everything, watch webinars, attend conferences and network as much as possible. Ottawa is a small town and it opens doors in terms of opportunity.
What has been your favourite project so far?
A storage consolidation project. We were able to reduce their footprint greatly and expand their usage ten-fold with better technology.
What about PureLogic IT makes it a great company to work for?
The team atmosphere. Everyone is passionate and really cares what they do. The PL team makes everything more enjoyable. There is a lot of synergy. They have great ideas, and they bring them to fruition.
What are you looking forward to in the next year?
Getting back to the new normal! Going out and meeting people. I want to collaborate and provide my clients with some solid PureLogic IT solutions.
